I have to admit that this book was very informative, it contain many answers to some problems I was having in understanding the splicing of fiber optic cable.

This a great book. I couldn't find anything else like it. It helped erradicate some "myths" that were floating around at work. I specifically found the info on how to measure and optimize splices useful.

Very accurate and well written at different details levels, so can be fruitfully adopted from students, technicians, scientists.

I bought this book looking for specific information about the process and physics of fusion splicing of optical fibers, I found it!!!
